What is the price on having liner on the eyes done. Do you have the swelling and puffyness for a couple weeks ? How painfull ? Never had a tatoo, but people say they do hurt. How long does it take. Saw your price on the eyebrows but not eyes unless I missed it.

EYELINER:
Permanent eyeliner can be anything from a soft haze to a darker, more defined effect. With this procedure, you always wake up looking your best. This is the perfect answer for those with allergies, contacts, movement, eye problems, or simply to save time.
Eyeliner (lower only) ……………….60 minutes ($150.00)
Eyeliner (upper only with lash enhancement)………120 minutes ($340.00)
Eyeliner (upper and lower with lash enhancement)………….150 minutes ($395.00)
You will experience slight swelling or puffiness for the first 24 – 48 hours however application of cold compresses and tucks pads directly after the procedure dramatically decrease the likelihood of swelling. A little redness of the eyelids will remain for the first 24 hours after the procedure.
We use disposable needles only and use of topical numbing agents prior to the procedure as well as throughout the application of the eyeliner – so the discomfort is minimal. Many people say it feels like a “scratching” sensation during the procedure but not really painful.
Consultation prior to the procedure is always done so we get the right amount of liner based on your preferences. Our State-of-the-Art machine is computerized so application is easy and you get stead-fast pigment deposit at your initial appointment. Most clients need NO “touch-up” at the 6-week follow up visit.

Good day,
Just wanted a 2nd opinion. I am African-American with sensitive skin and thought it would be a good idea to have this done. So many lipsticks/glosses break me out. I have sensitive skin period. I had permanent lip color applied on 09/14/07. This was the 2nd followup procedure. The 2nd procedure took longer and 2 colors were applied because I wanted a deeper natural color. Nothing trendy. I already spoke to the clinician that performed the procedure and she thinks it may be bruising or my own melanin coming through. She gave me arnica gel plus an ointment with calendula, olive oil, vitmain E,, and jojoba oil. I cannot tell if it is blood or what underneath my skin. I have undergone 3 chapping stages now and thought that “bruisin” would go away but it has not. I am already a self conscious person anyway and even more so now. I wish I had not had this done! I look like I got hit in the mouth! I do not want to leave my house but I have a job to go to. Is there anything else that I should be doing?

It sounds like the color left in your lip liner may have a purple undertone and that is why you perceive it as bruising. Without being able to see your final result - it is difficult to comment on what corrective work may need to be done.
It is very difficult to achieve any other color on african american lips except a natural brown to dark brown depending on your liking. If you were expecting a natural brown liner and ended up with a purple coloration instead - my suspicion is that a corrective pigment was not added to the base pigment to counteract the natural blue undertones in your lips.
It is sad to hear when a client does not have a positive experience with their permanent cosmetic procedure. Tammy, I am sure your clinician is qualified and I have EVERY confidence that she get your lip color to the desired shade (within reason). You should not have to self conscious about the lip liner you had applied - your clinician can fix it and I strongly recommend you either go back to her or see another permanent cosmetic clinician for a second opinion. As a clinician - it is my responsibility to support my profession and those who work in the field. It is also my responsibility to make sure that every client I work with is 100% satisfied with the procedure and I will do my utmost to achieve that. I think your clinician most likely feels the same about her clients.
I would really like to see a picture of your lips and what you have done since this post. I am truly sorry it has taken this long to respond - usually I receive email notification of new posts and I did not receive one for your inquiry and happened upon it today.

I had my lip line tattooed and lips filled in but she has gone way over my top natural lip line and it looks wrong. The color is good but the line is not. My husband says it looks like I made a mess with my lipstick. Can this be corrected. I asked her to just follow my natural lip line but she has gone over the top. What can i do

You may be able to have it partially removed with laser treatments, depending on the color and how much of the color is actually on the skin above the lip. Sometimes a practitioner (permanent makeup tech) can use salt removal (this will take several treatments) to correct the line. You will need to ask the person who did your lip liner if she also performs salt removal (a form of correction using salt water), as this is an option and it should be done by her at no additional cost.
Unfortunately, there is no easy fix for this. You have the option of seeking laser tattoo removal or salt removal to correct your lip liner. If your permanent makeup tech does not perform salt removal, it may be worth seeking out another technician who does. Prepare yourself for the additional costs that will be associated with the correction if your tech cannot fix this on her own.
